Responsibilities
- Data Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Amazon's operations and identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
- Dashboard Maintenance: Maintain and update performance dashboards using various data visualization tools, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
- Listing Insights: Analyze product listings to identify areas for improvement in terms of content, keywords, and presentation to enhance visibility and sales.
- Reporting and Communication: Generate regular reports on operational performance, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement. Communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy and consistency by implementing data validation processes and resolving data discrepancies.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to improve efficiency.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and product management, to support data-driven decision-making.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your data analysis skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
- Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve data-related issues, working with technical teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to answer specific business questions and support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business) preferred.
- Entry-level position; no prior experience required. However, experience in data analysis or a related field is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, formulas, and charting.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Comfortable working a night shift schedule.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce and online retail is a plus.
